Back for 2010 - The Saturday Soccer School

The club is pleased to announce details for the return of Darley Juniors hugely popular Saturday Soccer School. The Soccer school for children 5-12 yrs old will restart on Saturday 10th April.

However, the growing demand and sheer number of children attending has meant a slight restructuring of times for the soccer school.


This years times are as follows:

Saturdays 10.30-11.30 - Children 5-9 years old (School years: Reception, Year1, Year2, Year3, Year4)
Saturdays 12.00-1.00 - Children 10-12 years old (School Years - Year5, Year6, Year7)

The cost remains the same at £1.00 per week

Current juniors players from this years under7s, under8s and under9s do not need to book and will attend the early session.
Current juniors players from this years under11s and under12s do not need to book and will attend the second session.
All current players should see their team manager for more details.

Please ensure you book as early as possible to ensure that you dont miss out on attending the most popular local soccer school.

The soccer school will run all through spring and summer until the restart of the new football season in September and will also include the children taking part in the Darley Dale fun day six a side tournament in June and the pre season six-a-side tournament at the Tippin in late August.

Both of the six-a-side tournaments will also see the managers, coaches and parents strutting their stuff!

August's tournament will see the coaches and parents take on Darley Juniors Old Boys. This is the return grudge match and is sure to be good clean family fun again.

And following the demise of the Dads v Lads game (which has featured at the fun day tournament for the past few years) due to the retirement of a number of dads after last years battering at the hands of their siblings! The gauntlet will soon be thrown down to all team managers for this years new feature, details of which are a closely guarded secret at present. But will be released to the team managers and press once the Under 12s management have poached all the best players!
